João Silva

João Silva is an experienced electronic and hardware engineer with a strong background in developing innovative technologies. Currently serving as an Electronic Engineer at Anova since April 2025, João previously worked at Smartex.ai as a Senior Hardware Engineer, focusing on AI-driven solutions to minimize waste in textile factories from September 2022 to April 2025. Prior to that, João gained valuable experience at CeNTI - Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials from December 2018 to September 2022, where responsibilities included designing hardware with various PCB design software and conducting circuit simulations. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in microtechnologies and energy systems as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Universidade do Minho.
