Tom Bodnar has worked in a variety of roles in the business and finance industries since 1990. From 1990 to 1994, they were a Program Manager at the FDIC, acting as a liaison between the FDIC and commercial banks and performing numerous appraisal reviews of commercial real estate. From 1995 to 1997, they established and managed a business unit to process claims for securitized residential and commercial mortgage bundles. In 2000, they became a Director at Aether Capital LLC, co-developing investment criteria and acting as the initial point of contact for all potential partners. From 2001 to 2004, they were the Managing Director at the Maryland Venture Fund, making key decisions in all funding opportunities and investing in 25 start-up ventures with successful exits or ongoing operations of 22 of those companies 9+ years after investment. Finally, from 2004 to present, they have been the Chief Business Officer at ANP Technologies, Inc., overseeing strategic planning, government relations, marketing/business development, and operations, and expanding the laboratory presence from 1,000 sf to 25,000 sf.
Tom Bodnar received their Master of Business Administration from The Pennsylvania State University in 1987, with a concentration in Finance. Tom also received their Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University in an unspecified year, with a major in Marketing/Economics.
