Karla Backhoff

Karla Backhoff has a robust background in regulatory compliance and project management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Regulatory Compliance for Mexico & LAC at Ansell since February 2021, Karla previously held the position of Jefa de Regulación Sanitaria at AstraZeneca from January 2020 to February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Gerente Técnico Químico and Dictaminadora Quimica at 3VS, where Karla focused on regulatory affairs in collaboration with COFEPRIS, alongside a project management position at Grupo GORM and an internship at the Instituto Nacional de Medicina Genómica. Karla holds a Master’s degree in Dirección de Instituciones de Salud from Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Norte and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad La Salle.
