Neha Dhavale has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Neha started their career as a French Language Tutor from 2006 to 2010. Neha then worked as a Research Assistant for the Asiatic Society Project from June 2012 to February 2013. Neha later served as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Otago from January 2014 to June 2017. Neha continued their academic pursuits as an Assistant Professor (Archaeology) at the University of Mumbai from August 2017 to December 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Visiting Guest Lecturer at the Bachelor of Mass Media in September-October 2017. In 2018, Neha held the positions of Adjunct Assistant Professor in History at L.S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce, as well as a Freelance Editor. From January 2019 to December 2021, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Deccan College Postgraduate and Research Institute. Neha is currently an Associate Instructional Designer at ansrsource since January 2023.

Neha Dhavale obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biological Anthropology and Bioarchaeology from the University of Otago. Neha completed their PhD program from 2013 to 2017.

Prior to that, Neha Dhavale earned a Master's degree in Archaeology and Ancient Indian History and Culture from Deccan College Postgraduate and Research Institute. Neha attended this institute from 2009 to 2011.

Neha also holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Mumbai, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History. Neha attended the University of Mumbai and V.G Vaze College of Science, Arts and Commerce from 2006 to 2009.
