ansvar, n: responsibility (the state of being responsible).

Ansvar Capital is a growth equity firm specializing in collaborative investments in lower and middle market companies. As part of our investment strategy, we implement broad-based employee ownership to bring stakeholders together in a shared vision for sustainable growth that benefits all.

We believe in honoring the unique origin story of each of our portfolio companies. Our philosophy is to build upon their historical successes by partnering with management teams to develop bespoke strategies for their next phase. Experience has shown us that when we harness the efficacy of broad-based employee ownership, we can drive performance, spur involvement in value creation, and cultivate growth.

The Ansvar Partners are industry veterans driven to create a more equitable future of investment practices. With significant investment experience across a variety of industries, we consistently see how strong returns are closely linked to broad-based alignment of financial incentives.

Our responsibility - our “Ansvar” - to deliver those strong returns to all stakeholders is more than a name.

It’s the reason behind every decision we make.
