Chloe Lu

Chloe (Yiqiang) Lu is an experienced data scientist and machine learning engineer currently working at Ant Group since January 2022, focusing on merchant risk and intelligent decision making. Concurrently, Chloe serves as an algorithm engineer at JDT, specializing in credit risk models, marketing models, model validation, and data pipelines since April 2020. Prior experience includes an algorithm engineer internship at JD Digits, where work centered on application scorecards and recommendation systems, and a graduate student researcher role at Columbia University, where a reinforced learning framework for portfolio management was developed, demonstrating significant returns in back-testing. Earlier internships included positions at MAXIS Global Benefits Network and CharlesOddy, where risk quantification and enterprise risk management were emphasized, as well as an operations analyst internship at Uber. Chloe holds a Master’s degree in Operations Research from Columbia University and Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics with Finance and Financial Mathematics from the University of Liverpool and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, respectively.
