In 2020, they became the Co-Founder and COO of Ask2Learn, an education company that automates teacher observations and provides feedback.

Their most recent role is at Antaris Inc, where they initially served as the Vice President and later as the Chief Growth Officer. The company focuses on simplifying the design, simulation, manufacturing, and operation of satellites.

John Trionfo earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from DeVry University, which they attended from 1986 to 1990.
