Daniel Pérez Benech

Daniel Pérez Benech is currently the Sub Gerente de Explotación de Parques Eólicos at UTE and has served as an Asesor de directorio at ANTEL since 2020. Previously, Daniel worked on wind energy projects at UTE, where they held positions including Grupo de Proyectos Eólicos Propios o en Asociación and Especialista en estadística y control de energía. From 2007 to 2011, Daniel was the Coordinador general del Programa de Energía Eólica at the Dirección Nacional de Energía. They also managed various wind and solar projects as Project Manager at MCT Esco and served as Gerente General at Rouar S.A. for the Parque Eólico Artilleros from 2013 to 2019. Daniel holds degrees in Ingeniero Industrial Mecánico and a Master en Ingeniería de la Energía from Universidad de la República.
