Tim Webb, PhD has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Electronics Technician at Griffith University. Tim then became a Casual Tutor at the same university in 2009 and later took on a role as a Casual Private Tutor in 2013. In 2012, Tim worked as a Sports Coach for the Queensland Ultimate Disc Association. Tim briefly worked as a Sales Representative at Dick Smith Electronics in 2015. Tim also had a role as a Casual Lecturer at Griffith University in 2014. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Materials Scientist at Nano-Nouvelle Pty Ltd and then moved on to become a Materials Scientist at Anteo Diagnostics in 2018. Currently, Tim is employed as a Cell Development Engineer at Rocket Lab, a position they have held since October 2018.

Tim Webb, PhD, has a strong educational background in physics and materials science. Tim obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Griffith University, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Photonics and Nanoscience with honors at Griffith University from 2008 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Tim Webb has demonstrated their versatility and commitment to continuous learning. Tim earned a machine learning certificate from a Coursera course in February 2016 and achieved fluency in elementary German through Duolingo in December 2015. Tim also holds a Gas Safety certification from BOC, acquired in February 2012, and a Queensland X-Ray Fluorescence and Diffraction use certification obtained from Queensland Health in November 2013. Additionally, they possess a Blue Card, which certifies him for working with children, acquired from the Public Safety Business Agency in 2013.
