Lance Johnson

Lance Johnson has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on spectrum strategy and government affairs. Lance is currently serving as the Vice President of Spectrum Strategy & Government Affairs at Anterix since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked at pdvWireless, Inc. from July 2014 to June 2019, where they held the position of Director of Strategy & Government Affairs. In 2014, they briefly worked at FirstNet as the Director of Regulatory Strategy. Lance also worked at the National Telecommunications & Information Administration as a Program Officer from 2010 to 2014. Lance started their career at Sprint Nextel Corp. in 2001 as a Director, where they played a significant role in resolving interference issues for public safety wireless networks through negotiation of complex asset exchange agreements with state and local governments. Before that, they worked as a Senior Manager at Nextel Communications, Inc. from 1998 to 2001, where they led the negotiation of acquisition contract terms and pricing for wireless spectrum opportunities. Lance's work experience showcases their expertise in spectrum strategy, government affairs, regulatory strategy, and negotiation skills.

Lance Johnson attended John Jay HS, although the specific years of enrollment and any degrees or fields of study are unknown. Following high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Management from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, graduating in 1986. In 1992, Johnson entered the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where they obtained their JD degree in Law in 1996. Additionally, they obtained the Attorney certification from the New York State institution in December 1996, and from the State of Connecticut institution in November 1996.
