Rhys Thom currently serves as the Global Executive Director for Circularity and Value Chain Transformation at Anthesis Group since September 2024. Previously, from November 2020 to November 2024, Rhys held the position of Global Lead for Product Circularity at Amazon, where responsibilities included designing programs for circular products and embedding circular economy principles across product teams. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Circular Economy and Sustainability at IDEO, where Rhys co-led initiatives in circular economy and worked with global leaders to develop sustainable product and service solutions. Additional roles include Managing Director of the NextGen Accelerator, Senior Design Lead at IDEO, and Director of Innovation & Information at the World Resources Institute. Rhys has a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and is currently pursuing a professional degree in Life Cycle Assessment from MIT Professional Education.
