Tom Bishop

Tom Bishop is an experienced professional in patient information and editorial management, currently serving as the Head of Patient Information at Anthony Nolan since April 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of patient-related resources in support of stem cell transplant recipients. Prior to this role, Tom managed health information production at Mind and developed editorial strategies for Terrence Higgins Trust, enhancing communication on sexual health and HIV. With a background in journalism as a broadcast journalist for BBC News and roles in various editorial capacities, Tom's extensive experience spans over two decades in media and healthcare communication. Tom holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature & Philosophy from the University of East Anglia and a National Certificate in Newspaper Journalism from Highbury College, Portsmouth.
