Anthro - from the Greek anthrōpos (ἄνθρωπος), meaning “human.”

Being Human is the guiding principle at the heart of everything we do at Anthro Search. In a world where you can be anything, we choose to be human.

As AI and technology reshape recruitment, we believe the human element remains fundamental to great hiring and commercial success. Being Human means empathy, and taking the time to really understand people and businesses, so decisions about careers and hires make sense commercially and personally.

Anthro Search specialises in Rec‑to‑Rec recruitment, connecting experienced recruiters and leadership talent with businesses where they can genuinely thrive.

Recruitment professionals
You’re established in your market and good at what you do. Your current role no longer fits because of values, earnings, progression or how the business is run. We help you get clear on what needs to change and explore roles in better‑run, growth‑focused businesses that match your standards and goals.

Recruitment agency owners and leaders
You’ve felt the cost of hiring the wrong people, you want experienced recruiters and leaders who take ownership, deliver consistently and strengthen the business you’re building. At Anthro Search, we focus on senior consultants through to directors. We look at track record, behaviours and leadership style, and match people to environments where they can perform at a high level and stay
