Joe Papp

Joe Papp has a range of work experience in various research and academic roles. Joe is currently the CTO & Co-founder at Anthro Energy since June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab from September 2020 to May 2021. Joe also worked at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2015 to August 2020, where they held positions as a Graduate Student Researcher in the McCloskey Lab, a Graduate Student Instructor, and a Lab Safety Officer. Joe Papp was also a Visiting Researcher at Uppsala University, Department of Chemistry - Ångström from August 2019 to December 2019. Before their graduate studies, they were an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Kentucky from January 2013 to May 2015 and had an internship as a SULI Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the summer of 2014.

Joe Papp obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, where they attended from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a higher level of education and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2015 to 2020.
