Benoit Steiner

Benoit Steiner is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and software engineering, currently serving as Technical Staff at Anthropic since April 2023, and as a Senior Staff Research Engineer at Facebook since September 2018, focusing on AI at FAIR. Prior experience includes a role as Staff Software Engineer at Google from November 2011 to August 2018, contributing to TensorFlow within the Google Brain team. Benoit has held various leadership positions in software development and architecture at companies such as Coverity, Tabula, Inc., Magma Design Automation, and Monterey Design Systems. Benoit’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Control Theory from Mines Paris - PSL, and another Master’s degree in Computer Science from CentraleSupélec.
