Dave Orr

Dave Orr is currently the Head of Safeguards at Anthropic, where they lead the team responsible for AI safety and user protection. They previously held roles at Google, including Director of Product Management and Group Product Manager for Assistant NLP, where they focused on natural language interfaces and transformational AI technologies. In addition, they have experience as a Research Scientist at Yahoo! and held engineering and leadership positions at CyberSource Corporation and startups. Dave co-founded 13Parsecs and started their career as a software engineer, demonstrating a strong background in technology and product management. They are pursuing education at Stanford University.
