Evan Anders is an AI researcher at Anthropic, focused on developing helpful, harmless, and honest AI technologies. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff, Evan previously held positions such as Postdoctoral Scholar at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics and Postdoctoral Fellow at CIERA. With a Ph.D. in Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder, Evan spent nine years researching astrophysical fluid dynamics, studying the internal motions within stars.
