Jonas Timmermann is a seasoned software engineer and technical leader with extensive experience in machine learning, cloud platforms, and energy management systems. Currently a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic, Jonas previously served as a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead for the ML Platform at Lyft, where responsibilities included leading the development of an end-to-end machine learning platform and creating a reinforcement learning platform that generated significant business impact. Prior roles included Staff Software Engineer at Geli, where Jonas led the design of an energy management platform, and multiple researcher positions at BMW Group focused on mobility pattern prediction and energy management systems for electric vehicles. As a founder of T'n'T Robotik, Jonas developed soccer robots, achieving notable success in the RoboCup.
