Ludwig Schmidt is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Stanford University and a Member of the Technical Staff at Anthropic. Previously, Ludwig held the position of Advisor at Yellow and served as an Assistant Professor at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, with a period on leave. Ludwig was a Research Scientist at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2) and worked as a Visiting Research Scientist at the Toyota Research Institute. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research role at UC Berkeley EECS and internships at Google. Ludwig earned a PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where earlier degrees included an MS in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
