Mu Lin

Mu (Kevin) Lin is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in machine learning and engineering management. Currently serving as the Head of ML, Trust & Safety at Anthropic since February 2024, Lin previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Stripe from August 2021 to February 2024, leading multiple teams focused on transaction risk and payment fraud protections. Prior to Stripe, Lin worked at Lyft in various engineering management roles from March 2016 to August 2021, including overseeing the Infra Capacity team and managing the Scenarios team in the self-driving division. Lin also served as a Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Twitter from April 2013 to March 2016, making significant contributions to ads targeting and infrastructure. An intern at both Yelp and Microsoft earlier in the career, Lin holds a Master's degree from Zhejiang University and pursued a Ph.D. at Dartmouth College, where studies included machine learning and mobile computing.
