Alex Wright

Alex Wright, CPA, CA, currently serves as the Director of Finance for Antler since June 2022. Prior to this role, Alex held various positions at EY from September 2016 to June 2022, including Assurance Manager, where responsibility included overseeing a team of 16 staff and conducting comprehensive reviews of audit documentation. As a Senior Staff Accountant, Alex led a team for a publicly traded Oil & Gas client, coordinating efforts across eight global teams. Earlier in the career, Alex worked as a Staff Accountant, focusing on audit procedures within the Oil & Gas sector. In 2021, Alex was engaged in a secondment as the Director of Finance and Operations at NEXT Canada, taking on COO responsibilities during a leadership transition. Alex holds a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class) from Queen's University, along with an International Exchange in Management from the University of Bath.
