Marcelo Ciampolini

Marcelo Ciampolini is currently a partner at Antler. Prior to this, they were the head of consumer credit at SumUp from January 2021 to July 2021. Before that, they were a co-founder and board member of ABCD (Associação Brasileira de Crédito Digital) from November 2016 to September 2019. Marcelo also founded and was the CEO of Lendico Brazil from September 2013 to September 2019, and was a founder at Rocket Internet GmbH from September 2013 to January 2015. Marcelo's earlier work experience includes being an FX trader at BNP Paribas from January 2007 to March 2013, working in asset management at Santander Bank, N.A. from August 2006 to January 2007, and being an MIS analyst / advisory at Banque Privée Espirito Santo from January 2006 to July 2006. Marcelo also did an internship at Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas from January 2004 to June 2005.

Marcelo Ciampolini attended the Escola Politécnica da USP, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Marcelo also attended INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Industrial Engineering. In addition, they have a certification from MIT Professional Education in Blockchain: Disruptive Technology and a certification from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Stanford Business Leadership Series.
