Evan Claes is a PhD candidate at Universiteit Gent, focusing on Analytical Quality-by-Design and hybrid modelling for advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP) manufacturing. With ongoing roles as an ATMP Monitoring & Control Architect at Antleron, Evan specializes in developing Quality-by-Design and machine learning solutions for real-time ATMP process monitoring and control. Previous experience includes working as a Production Supervisor at Pfizer, overseeing aseptic production processes, and a thesis student at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, designing an imaging chamber for angiogenesis visualization. Evan's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Bio-engineering from KU Leuven.
