Carson Townsend

Carson Townsend is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Brigham Young University, possessing versatile experience in research, engineering, and project management. As a Research Assistant at BYU Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering, Carson led the university's inaugural agricultural robotics team and handled mechanical design for cotton harvesting technology. Additionally, Carson contributed to wind turbine research by leading a 13-member team to develop a small-scale offshore turbine. Previous roles include serving as an Executive Assistant during a mission, where coordination of international travel and volunteer management were key responsibilities, and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Larson Davis, focused on designing custom mechanical systems for acoustics research. Other experiences also span sales at Aptive Environmental and a position at Nike, showcasing strong communication and customer service skills. Future endeavors at Antora Energy will involve development and testing of high-temperature thermal systems.
