Guy Mereness

Guy Mereness is an experienced electrical software engineer with a robust background in firmware development across multiple companies. Since June 2020, Guy has been contributing to Antunes as an Electrical Software Engineer. Prior to this, Guy held roles at Intermatic, where responsibilities included writing software in C/C++ for Atmel AVR microprocessors, and served as a Principal Engineer. Guy's extensive tenure at Robertshaw spanned nearly two decades as a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on software design documentation and control system implementation. Early career experiences include software engineering positions at Emerson Appliance Controls, National Controls, Seatt, and Nova Systems, where Guy developed software for various microprocessors and validated hardware designs. Guy holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Controls from Northern Illinois University.
