Alison Booth

Alison Booth is an accomplished Emeritus Professor of Economics at the Australian National University, holding additional research fellow positions at the Centre for Economic Policy Research in London and IZA in Bonn, as well as being a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia. With a focus on labour economics, the economics of gender, and experimental economics, Alison Booth has contributed significantly to the field. In addition to academic pursuits, Alison Booth is a self-employed novelist, having written The Jingera Trilogy, which includes titles such as *Stillwater Creek* (2010), *The Indigo Sky* (2011), and *A Distant Land* (2012). Prior experience includes serving as a Professor of Economics at the University of Essex from 1995 to 2013. Academic credentials include a PhD and MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
