Amanda Cox

Amanda Cox possesses extensive experience in communication and public affairs, having held various roles at The Australian National University since October 2014, including positions such as Deputy Manager of Communication (Science) and Manager of Engagement, Communication and Marketing (Kambri). Prior to this, Amanda served as a Public Affairs Officer at the Australian Government Department of the Environment, where responsibilities included managing high-profile communication initiatives related to water reform. Amanda's expertise extends to roles at the Attorney-General's Department, where strategic communication and stakeholder engagement strategies were developed, and at the National Water Commission, where a new content management system was implemented. Amanda began her career at Cambia, developing publications for significant international conferences. Amanda holds Bachelor's Degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, as well as Sociology and Anthropology, from Monash University.
