Amy Parry

Amy Parry serves as the Deputy Head of the Department of Applied Epidemiology at The Australian National University, contributing significantly to the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health since June 2018. Parry has held various roles, including Senior Research Fellow and Deputy Director (International) within the Australian Field Epidemiology Training Programme, and has coordinated educational initiatives aimed at enhancing preparedness in the Asia-Pacific region. Parry's editorial experience includes positions as Co-convenor and Lecturer for a Master's level course in Public Health Surveillance and roles with the Western Pacific Surveillance and Response Journal and the World Health Organization. With a robust background in epidemiology, including a Doctor of Philosophy from The Australian National University, Parry has previously worked as an epidemiologist for WHO and the South Australia Department of Health, among others, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving public health outcomes.
