Andrea Parisi

Andrea Parisi, MD, PhD, AFHEA, is an experienced medical epidemiologist and public health professional currently serving as an EPIET Fellow at Instituto de Salud Carlos III and as an EPIET EU-track Fellow at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control since September 2022. Additionally, Andrea holds the position of Medical Epidemiologist at ACT Health and has been a lecturer and supervisor at The Australian National University since April 2020, where responsibilities include tutoring medical students. Previous roles include Public Health Physician at Fakultní nemocnice v Motole and Health Security Lead for the Papua New Guinea Australia Transition to Health Program at Abt Associates. Andrea has significant experience in public health data analysis, policy development, and project management within various organizations. Andrea earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology from The Australian National University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Charles University.
