Andrew Hunt

Andrew Hunt is currently a PhD student at The Australian National University, having previously served as an R&D Program Manager at Safran Electronics & Defense Australasia, where responsibilities included establishing a clean-sheet research and development program focused on artificial intelligence technology, securing significant funding from the Australian Research Council and Defence Science and Technology Group. Andrew also founded the med-tech startup Skinalytic at Cambright Innovation Ltd, aimed at early skin cancer detection, and held roles such as Design Engineer at GWA Group Limited, Project Engineer at Cochlear, and Mechanical Design Engineer at Thermoteknix Systems Ltd, where innovative product development spanned across various industries including medical technology and thermal imaging. Educational background includes an M.Phil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and an M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sussex.
