Angus Mitchell

HDR Candidate

Angus Mitchell is an HDR candidate at The Australian National University since October 2020, with extensive experience in technology development and engineering. As the Technology Development Lead and previously as the Technology Development Coordinator and Product Development Engineer at Engineers Without Borders Australia, Angus led the Agrilab Project aimed at enhancing agricultural livelihoods for individuals with disabilities in rural Cambodia. Angus also served as a Laboratory Technician and Research Assistant at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics, contributing to the development of the RIPPA autonomous robotic platform. Additionally, Angus co-presided over the Engineers Without Borders Australia - University of Sydney Chapter and held a role as a Mechatronic Technician at S1T2, focusing on repair and mechanical design. Angus holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Sydney, completed in 2017.
