Anna Olsen is an Associate Professor and Senior Research Fellow at The Australian National University, with a focus on the Social Foundations of Medicine. Her research encompasses public health, especially concerning marginalized populations, through qualitative methodologies. Key projects include topics such as illicit drug use, health among women who inject drugs, domestic violence, Indigenous health, and ethical research practices. Previously, Anna Olsen served as a NHMRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of New South Wales, investigating women's health and drug use, alongside a role at the University of Canberra as a Lecturer in Social Research Methods. Anna Olsen holds a PhD in Anthropology and Public Health from The Australian National University.
