Ben Dolman

Ben Dolman is a dedicated researcher and PhD student at The Australian National University since June 2023, following a lengthy career in various roles related to economics and policy. With extensive experience as a telephone counsellor at Lifeline Canberra for nearly 16 years, Ben has also held significant positions at the Commonwealth Treasury, including Branch Manager for superannuation outcomes and governance, and Principal Adviser in competition and consumer policy. Previous roles include Assistant Commissioner at the Productivity Commission and Program Manager at the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Educational qualifications encompass a B. Psychology (Hons) degree from The Australian National University, along with an Executive Fellows Program from the Australian and New Zealand School of Government, and two Bachelor’s degrees in Science and Economics from the University of Adelaide.
