Benjamin Lowe

Benjamin Lowe is an accomplished astronomer currently serving as an AAT Support Astronomer at The Australian National University, where expertise is provided to visiting astronomers utilizing the 3.9m Anglo-Australian Telescope. Previous roles include Outreach Assistant at Mount Stromlo Observatory, leading educational tours, and a Doctoral Student at the University of Canterbury, where also served as the Head First Year Astrophysics Tutor and a first-year tutor for ASTR112. Benjamin has a background in supporting students with disabilities through note-taking services and has experience in the retail sector as a Butcher Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy and Astrophysics, a Master of Science, and a Bachelor of Science with honors from the University of Canterbury, alongside a Bachelor of Science degree.
