Brandon Smith

Brandon Smith is a barrister at Banco Chambers since September 2023 and serves as a sessional academic at The Australian National University, conducting a three-hour weekly seminar on Administrative Law for approximately 50 LLB and JD students. Previously, Brandon worked as a lawyer at Allens from July 2022 to August 2023, and held positions as an associate to the Hon. Chief Justice Allsop and to the Hon. Justice Griffiths at the Federal Court of Australia from January 2021 to July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a law clerk with the Australian Government Solicitor and various roles including student editor for the Federal Law Review and summer clerk at Allens. Brandon holds an LLB with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of International Security Studies from The Australian National University, awarded between 2016 and 2020.
