Catherine Fitzpatrick is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community welfare, financial resilience, and advocacy for women's safety and wellbeing. Currently serving as the Founder & Director of Flequity Ventures, Catherine aims to combat financial abuse and gender bias through innovative product design. As Chair of the Student Safety & Wellbeing Committee at The Australian National University, oversight includes addressing critical safety issues affecting students. Catherine is also a member of the National Plan Advisory Group for the Australian Government, contributing to the national strategy to end violence against women and children. Further roles include Adjunct Associate Professor at UNSW and deputy chair of the NSW Domestic and Family Violence Corporate Leadership Group. Previous leadership positions at Westpac Group and Commonwealth Bank focused on ensuring customer excellence and supporting vulnerable populations.
