Cormac Corr is a Group Leader at The Australian National University, overseeing Plasma-Material Interactions at the Plasma Research Laboratory since January 2008. In addition to this role, Cormac serves as a Lecturer for second-year Electricity and Magnetism and third-year Plasma Physics courses. Cormac also holds the position of Director at the Australian Plasma Fusion Research Facility since July 2016. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at LPTP, Ecole Polytechnique in Paris from February 2003 to December 2005. Educational qualifications consist of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Plasma Physics from Queens University Belfast (1999-2003) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Physics from the same institution (1995-1999). Early education was completed at Moyderwell Secondary School in Tralee (1989-1995).
