Dan Andrews

Dan Andrews currently serves as the Head of Growth, Competitiveness & Regulation Division at OECDeconomy, a position held since January 2024. Andrews also holds the title of Visiting Fellow and Director of Micro heterogeneity and macroeconomic performance at The Australian National University since January 2022, and previously acted as Research Director and Head of Policy Engagement at the e61 Institute until January 2024. Additionally, Dan Andrews was a member of the Council on Economic Policy at CEDA from December 2020 to January 2024, and has extensive experience with the OECD, having served in various roles including Head of the Structural Policy Analysis Division and Advisor within the Economics Department. Prior to this, Dan Andrews was Chief Advisor on Macroeconomic Modelling & Policy at the Commonwealth Treasury and has held positions such as Senior Economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia. Dan Andrews holds a Master of Public Administration in Economics from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Economics (Honors) from The University of Queensland.
