David Leaney

David Leaney currently serves as the Managing Director and Principal Consultant at Strategium Act Pty Ltd, a position held since September 2019. In addition, David holds multiple leadership roles including Chairman and Director at The Aquaculture Group, and Chairman at MiBizData and the Australian Smart Energy Exchange. David has a strong academic presence, functioning as a part-time lecturer in the Research School of Management at the Australian National University and as a lecturer and assessor in AGSM @ UNSW Business School’s MBA program. Earlier in the career, David accumulated substantial experience in management consulting, notably as Director at PwC Australia and KPMG Australia, alongside a tenure as Principal Consultant at the REASON Group and a Partner at WDScott, Ltd. David's educational background includes an MSc in Aerodynamics from Cranfield University, an MBA in Technology Management from Deakin University, and a BEng in Communications from RMIT University.
