Dio Ashar

Dio Ashar is a PhD candidate at The Australian National University, focusing on Regulation and Global Governance, while also serving as a lecturer at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Hukum Adhyaksa since August 2022. As a co-founder and executive director of the Indonesia Judicial Research Society (IJRS) from September 2019 to December 2023, Dio contributed to legal advocacy and research on Indonesian judicial issues. Prior experience includes serving as executive director at the Indonesia Judicial Monitoring Society (MaPPI FHUI) from July 2012 to September 2019, emphasizing judicial reform and access to justice, along with conducting various research projects on related topics. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Sociology Law from Universidad del País Vasco and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Indonesia.
