Doris Grosse

Doris Grosse is a highly experienced research fellow and project manager specializing in optical communications and space technology. Currently affiliated with The Australian National University since October 2019, Doris has held multiple key roles including Research Fellow in Lunar Optical Laser Communication and Deep Space Optical Communications System, as well as Project Manager for various optical instrument design projects and ground stations. At the ANU Institute for Space | InSpace, Doris serves as a mission specialist in Space Situational Awareness and leads initiatives in space sustainability. Previous experience includes serving as Project Lead at the Space Environment Research Centre and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Australian National University. Doris holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and a Dipl.-Ing. from Ruhr University Bochum, complemented by a study abroad semester at La Trobe University.
