Elizabeth Williams

Elizabeth Williams is an accomplished academic and researcher at The Australian National University, serving as Associate Professor and Nuclear Systems Discipline Lead within the School of Engineering since January 2012. Williams has pioneered a nuclear systems major that recently achieved provisional accreditation from Engineers Australia and has held various roles including Senior Lecturer and Senior Fellow, focusing on safety-critical systems and artificial intelligence integration. A significant contributor to educational strategies related to AUKUS, Williams also leads the Algorithmic Futures Podcast, engaging with technology innovators and regulators.
