Grace Shephard is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in Earth sciences. Currently serving as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at The Australian National University since August 2023, Grace has also been a Senior Researcher at the University of Oslo since August 2013, leading the POLARIS project under the Norwegian Research Council. Additionally, Grace has contributed to the Centre for Earth Evolution and Dynamics (CEED) and has been involved in teaching at the master's level through the "A Changing Arctic" International Summer School. Previous positions include VISTA Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Sydney from 2010 to 2013, concluding a PhD focused on geodynamic models linking deep Earth structure and surface topography.
