Grant Walton

Grant Walton is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at The Australian National University since April 2013, where involvement includes the Development Policy Centre. Additionally, Grant Walton holds the position of Research Fellow at the Development Policy Centre since November 2022 and has been an Associate Professor since October 2008. Consulting work has been a significant part of professional experience, providing expertise to various NGOs, governments, and donor organizations, such as Transparency International and the U4 Anti-Corruption Centre. Earlier roles include lectureship and tutoring positions at the University of Melbourne from 2003 to 2011. Education includes a PhD in International Development and a Master of Development Studies from the University of Melbourne, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from Monash University and a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy from The Australian National University.
