Ijaz Hafeez

Ijaz Hafeez has extensive experience in IT security and digital forensics, currently serving in Cyber & Digital Security at The Australian National University since January 2017. Prior to this role, Ijaz held positions such as IT Security & Service Desk Manager at the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority from October 2012 to January 2017 and worked in IT Security Audit & Forensics for the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations, where expertise in Symantec Control Compliance Suite and adherence to the Australian Government Information Security Manual was developed. Additional experience includes consultancy, solutions architecture, technical training, and systems administration across various organizations. Ijaz holds a Masters in Information Assurance from the University of South Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Canberra, and a BE in Civil Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology.
