Jane Ferguson

Jane Ferguson is currently the Fuller Endowed Visiting Professor of Southeast Asian Studies at Ohio University since January 2022, while also serving as a Lecturer at the Australian National University since July 2008, specializing in Southeast Asian History and Anthropology. Additionally, Jane held the position of Visiting Research Fellow at Kyoto University for a brief period in early 2020 and served as a Research Fellow at the University of Sydney from June 2012 to June 2015. Jane’s academic background includes a Master’s and Doctorate in Anthropology with a focus on Southeast Asian History from Cornell University, obtained between 2001 and 2008, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Antioch College from 1996 to 2000.
