Joaquin Vespignani

Joaquin Vespignani is a prominent academic and economist currently serving as Co-Founder of Commodia, which specializes in the analysis of global energy markets. Joaquin holds multiple roles at The Australian National University as Co-Founder and Director of the Centre for Applied Macroeconomics Analysis and as an Associate Researcher. Additionally, Joaquin is an Associate Professor and Head of Discipline at the University of Tasmania in Economics and Finance, and a Research Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Joaquin's expertise is further recognized through participation in the National Economic Expert Panel for the Economic Society of Australia - Tasmanian Branch. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Economist for Australia and New Zealand at Barclays Investment Bank.
