Leif Hanlen

Leif Hanlen serves as the Director at Scyne Advisory since November 2023 and is the Chief Executive Officer at Regsoft since July 2022. As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra since September 2012, Leif has contributed to developing a living lab for eHealth and primary care in collaboration with Ochre Health and U. Canberra Health clinics. Additionally, Leif holds the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at the Australian National University since July 2003. Previous roles include Director at PwC Australia (July 2021 - August 2023) and Executive Director at Synergy Group Australia (September 2018 - July 2021), where Leif specialized in Big Data and Reg-Tech. Experience also includes consulting for CSIRO's Data61 and a long tenure at NICTA in various leadership positions. Leif earned a PhD in Telecommunications and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Newcastle.
