Liam McBride Kelly currently serves as a Resident Medical Officer at NT Health since January 2024 and has previously held the position of Intern Medical Officer. Alongside medical practice, Liam is a Casual Academic at The Australian National University's Tjabal Indigenous Higher Education Centre, tutoring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students since 2022. As a co-founder and co-director of the Refugee and Migrant Swimming Project in Canberra, Liam provides culturally safe, trauma-informed swimming lessons to refugees and migrants. From 2010 to 2020, Liam founded Operation Helios, managing technical, logistical, and legal aspects of high-altitude balloon launches for various applications. Prior experience includes serving as a Court Officer at the Federal Court of Australia from 2016 to 2019, assisting in courtroom management and procedural duties. Liam holds a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree from The Australian National University, a Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies from Flinders University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from The University of Queensland.
