Louise Spain

Louise Spain is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the Emergency Department at Canberra Health Services since July 2023. Louise has held various leadership and instructional roles with the Australian Resuscitation Council since 2019, including Chair of the ACT Branch and multiple instructional positions in Advanced Life Support. Additional roles include President of the College of Emergency Nursing Australasia ACT Branch, Associate Clinical Skills Tutor at the Australian National University, and Founder of Raise the Bar. Louise has contributed to NSW Health in various capacities, including Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator in the Emergency Department, and previously worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse at Calvary Health Care ACT.
